who has been to Argentina and tried the very traditional ice cream Freddo, hardly did not return to Brazil with nostalgia. Considered an obligatory tourist spot on a trip to Buenos Aires or to other cities in Argentina where it has a store, Freddo was founded in 1969, betting on dulce de lechea heritage of the country.
Now the Brazilians who fell in love with dessert in Buenos Aires, have just won a store in São Paulo, in the neighborhood of Moema. The first was opened in Brasilia. Today the chain has other stores in several malls (see list below).
The ice creams travel for days in refrigerated trucks from Buenoas Aires until they land here with that unforgettable taste of those who had already tasted it there. The store, modern, beautiful and small for so much demand, opened at the beginning of April at Rua Normandia, 22. In addition to the 30 flavors served in the cucuruchos (cone) – most versions of dulce de leche and chocolate – there is also a cafe in the back, with cheese breads and pies.
The price (R$8.50 the cheapest), although salty, makes it worth paying the trip for each ball from Argentina to São Paulo. The store also sells larger pots and delivers within a small radius, so that transport does not compromise the quality of the product.
