Two years of Rodei with Lonely Planet guides

Updated February 7, 2019 by Thiago Khoury

It seems like yesterday that I decided to join the same wave of another zillion young people and create a blog.

A travel blog. Every kind of trip? Prepared, scheduled, well-informed trip. Europe and the United States. Oops, Canada too. Argentina. Chile. I rode. Two years of Rodei!

In its first week on the air, between the 23rd and 29th of April 2010, the blog received 403 precious visitors. These 403 brought others, published texts, tweeted impressions, shared posts! This made the 403 more than 10,000 a year later in the week of April 23.

In 2012 the numbers are even better. Followers, sharers and friends too. The amount of stamps has increased, money has decreased, but travel is not an expense, it is an investment!

Two years later I want texts, tweets, shares and many, many other investments! I want to invest in passport stamps, hotel rates and great developed photos!

And what do you want?

To celebrate #rodei2anos we want to know what you want. Argentina? Barcelona? Berlin? Buenos Aires? Istanbul? New York? Paris? Portugal? Prague?

For a chance to win the complete collection with the nine Lonely Planet guides in Portuguese, a Jansport backpack and two passport holder cases exclusive to Lonely Planet, just say in the comments of this post which of the destinations covered by them you want to know and why.

After commenting you must tweet the sentence below:

I follow and I want to take ALL the @lonelyplanet_br guides that will be drawn by @rodeiviagens on the 23/04th! #rodei2years

O prize draw will be done through sorteie.me on the 23rd of April, next Monday, at 14:00 on the 2nd anniversary of the blog!

It is worth remembering that only readers who follow the profiles @rodeiviagens and @lonelyplanet_br and like the pages on Facebook can compete.

Good luck, great trips! 😉
